Our technology is pushing textile

recycling to the next level

SaXcell is a regenerated Man Made Cellulose Fiber made from used cotton textiles. The SaXcell fibers are perfectly fit for making high quality new textiles such as garments or household textiles.

In SaXcell’s eco-friendly recycling process the used cotton textiles is dissolved in a closed loop system without any potentially harmful chemicals. Water and chemicals used are recycled during the process.

The pulp that results from the SaXcell process is made into fibers by lyocell wet spinning. SaXcell has a strategic collaboration with Birla Cellulose for the wetspinning process. The SaXcell fibers can be used in all existing textile production equipment.

The gathering of textiles is significant already and, because SaXcell fits within the existing Lyocell process, the fibre can be used immediately in the textile industry.

To market this technology, it is necessary to increase production to industrial volumes.
