As a chemical engineer Erik van der Weerd has worked for 10 years in the field of new production and design technologies at international companies.
Subsequently he headed his family-owned company Wevotex for 25 years. Wevotex is delivering
home textiles to hotels and hospitals.
In 2020 Wevotex became a shareholder in SaXcell, which soon led to Erik becoming the new CEO of SaXcell and stepping down as managing director of Wevotex.
Süleyman Kocasert started his own company, Modeco Textile, more than 25 years ago.
Next to heading his own company, he also headed the Turkish Exporters Association for over 4 years and is still a board member of the Denizli Chamber
of Commerce.
In 2020, Modeco became a shareholder in SaXcell. Soon after, Süleyman took on the position of Chief Marketing Officer at SaXcell.
Ger Brinks has been a part-time professor of Smart Functional Materials at Saxion and has a long track record at -among others- Bonar, Stork, Organon, and Unilever in the field of research and development.
He is one of the initiators
of the development of SaXcell.
After being an assistant controller at Deloitte for 6 years, Tineke Munnink-Hoffmann started as the financial controller at Wevotex almost 10 years ago.
In 2023, she took on the position of Chief Finance Officer at SaXcell.
